This event celebrates the official launch of the Al Mawakeb Innovation Center Club for the second year, aimed at fostering creativity and technological innovation among students. The event introduces new members to the club's mission and vision, highlighting upcoming activities such as robotics competitions, entrepreneurship challenges, and collaborative projects. It serves as an engaging platform for students to explore emerging technologies and develop problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.

The Endless National Game Making Competition celebrated the UAE’s vibrant game development talent, challenging participants to create games inspired by UAE culture—whether through traditions, folklore, architecture, or local arts and cuisine. In a thrilling 24 to 72-hour sprint, developers, designers, and enthusiasts teamed up to transform ideas into game prototypes, honoring the UAE’s heritage with creativity, collaboration, and rapid problem-solving.

The Al Mawakeb Innovation Center (AMIC) is thrilled to welcome this year’s AMIC Jr members, a group of curious and creative students from grades 7 through 9. Our welcome ceremony featured an exciting team-building activity where students worked together to construct catapults, diving into the basics of engineering and problem-solving. This hands-on challenge offered them a taste of the collaborative and innovative spirit at the core of AMIC Jr. We’re eager to see how these young minds will continue to experiment, grow, and make their own mark as they embark on their journey with us!

Our members participated in CTRL Game Jam, a 3-day weekend event organized by Abu Dhabi Gaming. The challenge brought together teams to create a complete game from scratch, with a grand prize of 30,000 AED for the winning project. The theme of the competition was The Journey of Ibn Battuta. Our game was a reenactment of Ibn Battuta's travels from Egypt to Mecca in Suadi Arabia. Ibn Battuta starts out in the level Africa where he must explore the world, collect coins, avoid getting dehydrated, and find a sheikh which recognizes Ibn Battuta's fondness of travel and tells him to meet his brothers in Arabia and India. Ibn Battuta then travels to these countries where he meets the brothers and collects artifacts and wins the game.

Our AMIC Club proudly represented the school at MakeX China, competing against top international teams. With a well-designed and high-performing robot built from scratch, our team reached the semi-finals—showcasing their engineering skills, teamwork, and innovation on a global stage. A proud achievement for our young tech pioneers!

Our middle and high school students proudly competed in this year’s FIRST LEGO League (FLL), showcasing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Both teams delivered impressive performances, with the middle school team ranking in the top 10 among fierce competition. A fantastic achievement that reflects their dedication and STEM passion!

Our students delivered outstanding performances at the AUS School Computing Competition, securing 2nd place in the Computer Programming track and 4th place in the AI with Python track. Competing against schools from across the country, our teams demonstrated strong coding skills, problem-solving, and innovation. A proud achievement for our tech-driven learners!

Our students proudly competed in the UAE National STEAM Competition, an event that brought together talented youth from across the country to take on challenges in robotics, programming, AI, graphic design, Rubik’s Cube solving, and videography. Our teams showcased their creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking, gaining valuable experience and the opportunity to qualify for global stages!
