Members of the Al Mawakeb Innovation Center actively participated in the App Olympics, a key component of Dubai’s ambitious 'Create Apps in Dubai' initiative launched under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This competition, aimed at consolidating Dubai’s stature as a leading digital hub, saw our students showcasing their innovative app ideas, which align with educational themes—one of the largest sectors represented in the submissions. After a series of rigorous training sessions and competitive stages that stretched over six months, our AMIC team progressed impressively. The culmination of this exciting journey was a visit to the Museum of the Future, where they attended the awards ceremony. This event not only highlighted the final presentations of the winning ideas but also served as a profound learning experience, offering our students a firsthand look at the cutting edge of digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
